Astoria Ink is a Christchurch tattoo studio specialising in black & grey realism, custom designs and detailed cover-up work. Based at The SQ in the central city, we bring together individual artists with a shared focus on creativity, precision and personal expression. To us, a tattoo is more than an image. It can mark a moment, carry a memory or simply be a piece of art you love. Whatever brings you through our door, we work with you to create something that feels like yours. From your first tattoo to a large-scale custom piece, our approach is personal: we listen to your ideas, explore the possibilities and bring them to life with care. - [EXPLORE THE STUDIO]() ## ARTWORK AS INDIVIDUAL AS YOU ARE Our artists bring their own perspectives and specialties, from black & grey realism and detailed cover-ups to fine-line and illustrative work. What connects them is a thoughtful approach to every design and a respect for the person wearing it. We combine traditional tattoo craftsmanship with modern tools, working closely with you from the first idea through to the finished piece. You might arrive with a clear vision, a collection of references or just the beginning of an idea. We’ll help you find the direction that feels right. Meet the team on our home page and explore their portfolios to find an artist whose work speaks to you. - [MEET THE TEAM]() - [OUR APPOINTMENT PROCESS]() ## YOUR STORY STARTS HERE A comfortable space.
